North Sydney-Computer / Internet Access

Computers are available at all thirteen branches of the Cape Breton Regional Library for access to the internet and to word processing software. North Sydney offers access at the Wilfred Oram Centennial Library and also upstairs in the BIDA CAP Site, an extension of the Library site.

BIDA Computers are available Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm

When signing up to use the computer for the first time, please read the rules and fill out the Internet Acceptable Use Policy form.

To use the Library CAP Site you will need to have a current Cape Breton Regional Library borrower's card. After registration for computer use, the card will be stamped authorizing computer use. We will hold your library card while you use the computer. There are 5 terminals available at this CAP Site. The BIDA CAP Site does not require a Library Card, however you will need to sign in. There are 4 terminals open for public use at this site.
