A Community Effort

As you all may know North Sydney is well under way to revitalizing our downtown. To date, the Business Improvement and Development Association have held five public meetings concerning the revitalization of downtown North Sydney. From these meetings four major discussion groups have arose in the areas of landscape, arts, culture and tourism, infrastructure, and image and profile. These discussion groups have been meeting now for the last four months and have been improving upon the ideas given by the community. From these discussion groups a steering committee was formed, and they will then develop an action plan. The community members and business owners have attended the meetings with great enthusiasm about this project and have come with many suggestions to improve our downtown. The BIDA and the community of North Sydney would like to thank you for your interest and support in this project.
